# Sigmoid's CSR efforts bolster Whitefield government hospital with critical medical supplies
**BENGALURU, July 27, 2023** Sigmoid, a leading data engineering and [AI solutions company](/) partnered with Way For Life, a youth-driven NGO, to bolster the public healthcare infrastructure in Whitefield government hospitals earlier this week. This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, called the Life-Saver Project, empowers the hospital staff to be equipped with vital medical supplies and equipment, positively impacting over 5000 patients annually from nearby communities across the two primary health centres in Whitefield.
“With Sigmoid's CSR initiative, our hospital now has essential supplies and improved infrastructure to enhance patient experience, be it to combat lung diseases or to enable early heart attack diagnosis. With these advancements, we anticipate the number of patients to nearly double, benefiting nearby communities. I'm sincerely grateful to Sigmoid and team for their impactful efforts.” said Dr. Nagesh M, Medical Officer at Primary Health Centre, Whitefield.
This Life-Saver project seeks to secure essential healthcare resources, enhance inventory control, upgrade infrastructure and medical equipment, and foster collaborations for sustainable supply chains and funding support.
