# Sigmoid to cover COVID-19 vaccination cost for employees
Bengaluru, 20 April 2021 – Sigmoid, a leading provider of [data engineering](/data-engineering/) and analytics services, today announced that it will cover the full cost of vaccination for all the employees and their immediate family members.
“We shifted to a work from home setup early in March 2020 to ensure employee safety. We have been taking all precautions needed to protect our employees’ health, safety and wellbeing during COVID-19. Our employees are our utmost priority and we have decided to cover 100% of the vaccination cost for the employee and their dependents. We are extremely grateful to our resilient and dedicated teams who have helped us and our clients to navigate through the difficult times” said Lokesh Anand, Co-Founder and CEO of Sigmoid.

“The employees who are eligible now and in the future and choose to get vaccinated will get full reimbursement of the vaccination cost. Additionally, employees will also get paid leave for the vaccination process.” said Guchu Nathani, VP Strategy and Operations at Sigmoid.
“We regularly organize several employee wellness initiatives for the wellbeing of our employees and their families. This helped us not only to maintain business continuity but also increased customer satisfaction through the pandemic. With our employees’ support we were also able to launch several solutions such as COVID analytics to help CPG companies transition to the new normal seamlessly. Looking at the current pandemic scenario, we feel this is an important responsibility we have towards our employees who have shown nothing other than strength & support” he added.
